9 August 2015 Events, Reader's Polls 2

What Is Your Favorite Thing to do on a summer night in Merida?

It's summer in Merida and the nights are hot, but the days are hotter. Take our poll (our site is going to have a lot more of these...) and tell us what you like to do in the summertime.

This week, Merida is having an Animé Film Festival at the Olimpo. LA 68 has a great line-up of films too. And there are some good workshops going on. But in general, Merida is pretty quiet this week... it's summertime! Everyone is at the beach, escaping the city heat. And shhhh... don't tell anyone. Everyone in the city is enjoying the relative peace. It sometimes is even relatively quiet too!

Check out this week's events and definitely also check out our new Calendar of Events. We update that on an ongoing basis, so check in there anytime to see what's happening!

Fantastic job on your new site. I can appreciate all of the work you must have put in. Frankly I didn't think you could improve, but I was wrong. One feature that I hope you'll keep is showing recent comments on the front page, reading them often led me to read articles that I would never have seen otherwise. Thank you for what you do, you do it very well.
