Special guest Marissa Grossman, a fourth-year PhD student from Emory University in the Population Biology, Ecology, and Evolution Program, will be discussing mosquito-borne viruses and her work in the Yucatan with UADY studying Aedes aeygpti, the mosquito species that is responsible for transmitting Zika, dengue, and chikungunya.
