Gran Parque La Plancha, A.C. will sponsor a short (1- 2 hour) maintenance session to prune and paint the bark of the trees we planted in 2012, and generally tidy up the stretch along Calle 46 between Calle 43 and Calle 49. We will meet at 10 a.m. on Sunday, December 6 where Calle 47 intersects Calle 46 along La Plancha´s eastern boundary. Please bring rakes, brooms, pruning shears and plastic garbage bags if you have them - a pair of gloves and a hat are highly recommended. Come meet your neighbors, practice your Spanish and learn about this historic but neglected neighborhood and our plans to create a "Central Park" in Mérida.
