Meet at Jim's place, Palapas Tepakan, Calle 16 and 41, Tepakan, at 9:00 AM for breakfast and tour of Jim's garden. Did ya'll see those avocados in the album “Jim Smiley's Photos” of his garden on Facebook? Then, the group will visit the families selling plants as well as visit one of the village bakeries that has a wood fired oven. Since it will be All Souls Day, the bakery will be preparing traditional foods and bread for Nov 2. The group will then have lunch at the local cocina economica where ladies from the village will prepare a wonderful meal that includes handmade tortillas.
