We went to eat dinner at Dadaumpa on Thursday after an absence of a few weeks. This used to be a weekly regular dining spot for us, and we appreciated the modest prices and that we could bring a bottle of our favorite cheap SAMs club wine with us. Unfortunately,we found it to be quite changed. The menu prices have increased, probably with the arrival of a liquor license and two bottles of just OK wine from the limited wine offering set us back almost $70 USD. Oh well, all good things come to an end. Maybe our next new local fav eatery will be the Thai restaurant on 66 just south of 45 that we just noticed. We will try that one next time.

Maybe the phone number you have indicated is not in service?
Are they still open for business?
We tried calling half a dozen times to book a table for 9 people, and no response on the phone.
Guess we will have to default to one of our regular restaurants.
    Too bad.

Is it bad that I go to Merida to eat at Dadaumpa's? Okay maybe not the only reason but last time I was down, 13 days, I ate there 6 times. Yes I like Italian food, but Dadaumpa is amazing. Quiet, simple place with amazing food, reasonably priced, and now serving wine and beer.

My wife and I just returned from a Wonderful Merida Trip. We "found" Dadaumpa and ate there more than once. The owner Marcello and the Hostess Marilyn were wonderful and we felt as though we were "home". Your review says No outside and yet we sat out under the stars in a courtyard......and we also had a nice glass of wine, so alcohol is served. Do not miss this new restaurant, as it is thoroughly enjoyable.
