Notes: Bravo Tapas, with over fifty divinely-prepared dishes, has rapidly become one of Merida’s favorites! The great view from the second floor terrace is perfect for watching a sunset or enjoying a warm tropical night. The interior space, gaily painted, is large enough to host a variety of events. Recent events have included a flamenco dance troupe and a local stand-up comic. Foodies are offered a more-than-ample range of tapas, from the robust flavor of bacon-wrapped dates stuffed with a smoky almond and feta cheese, to the simply delicate combination of green apples, manchego cheese and smoked almonds served with a light dressing. You will have a favorite, and as such, be prepared to occasionally not find it on the menu. Javier and his daughter, Cristina, shop daily for the freshest ingredients. This is a family-run business which is fitting, as tapas are for sharing! With their many years of restaurant experience in Las Vegas, Bravo Tapas owner, Javier Bolanas, his daughter Cristina Bolanas and nephew Javier Garcia, have brought a much-needed diversity of food choices to Merida. Bienvenidos, Familia de Bolanas. Try it and let us know what you think!
