6 December 2016 Events 2

This month contains one of our favorite holidays, Virgin of Guadalupe Day on December 12. Look for statues and pictures of the Virgin to spring up everywhere, decorated with lights and flowers and a lot more. Antorchistas, the torch runners, will be arriving from all over Mexico to both Merida and Uman, and fireworks will be exploding randomly. It's a lot of fun to celebrate a great lady.

And there's more... the Yucatan Symphony Orchestra, a Red Dress Run, the Women's Polo Tournament... keep this page bookmarked and check back often as we are always adding more events as we find them.
