Join us for an exploration of the rich history, architecture and flora of Mérida´s La Plancha district, once the center of Yucatán´s henequen economy. Led by experts, the tour includes rare access to the grand railway station (1920) and other sites from Mérida´s belle epoque. Proceeds benefit Gran Parque La Plancha, A.C.´s campaign to create a 60-acre park in La Plancha.
Please wear appropriate shoes and clothing for this walking tour. Arrive anytime between 9 and 11, tour will take 1-11/2 hours.
Tickets: $200 advance (Hennessy´s, Robert Abuda Salon, El Bull Pen), $250 at the event.
