Teatro Armando Manzanero
James Meador and Grupo Taboo Jazz bring us a show that underscores Yucatan's deep and abiding love of Jazz. James is a Texas boy (also claimed by Louisiana) who came to Merida as a member of the Symphony Orchestra of Yucatan. Since then, he has developed his talents for both low brass and jazz, married, and become a young father. With Grupo Taboo Jazz, it looks as if this is one Texas boy whose roots are firmly planted in Yucatan! Do go out and see this performance. They're young and energetic and bring their own style to Jazz.
